From Crashes to Championships: Jagathishree Kumaresan’s Inspiring Racing Journey

She was just a little girl with a dream, a dream of racing motorcycles on tracks where speed, courage, and precision decide everything. But for Jagathishree Kumaresan, that dream wasn’t supposed to be easy.

Motorsport in India is still a male-dominated world. For a woman to step into it meant facing questions, doubts, and countless roadblocks. Financial struggles, the lack of proper racing gear, and limited opportunities threatened to hold her back. On the track, crashes and disappointments tested her resilience. Off the track, rejections and the fear of “What if I can’t?” often haunted her.

Yet, every time she fell, Jagathishree chose to rise stronger. Because racing wasn’t just a sport; it was her identity.

With 3 national titles and over 30 podium finishes, she has carved her place among India’s finest racers. But behind every victory lies a story of grit, sacrifice, and an unshakeable belief in her dream.

Her journey wouldn’t have been possible without her team, Oneracing, and her coach, Mr Mohamed Hanif, who guided her through the highs and lows of the sport. They became her backbone and family on the track. In moments when she doubted herself, they reminded her of who she was becoming: not just a racer, but an inspiration.

And here’s the most striking part. Alongside her racing career, Jagathishree is also pursuing archaeology. Speed fuels her passion, knowledge anchors her purpose, and together they shape a story that proves one thing: dreams are never too bold if you dare to chase them.

Her message to every dreamer is simple yet powerful: your dream is valid. With passion, perseverance, and the right people beside you, you can race past any obstacle.”
