In every person’s life, there is a moment when everything feels heavy, when the mind is overwhelmed and nothing seems to make sense. When the world slowed down during the lockdown, life took an unexpected turn for Induja.
The days grew heavier, the silence louder, and her inner world felt increasingly fragile. What should have been a pause became one of the lowest phases of her life, a time marked by confusion, emotional exhaustion, and a sense of losing direction. But in the midst of that darkness, something quiet and powerful entered her life: yoga.
What began as a desperate attempt to find grounding soon became the lifeline that lifted her out of the chaos. Yoga did not just help her breathe; it helped her rebuild. It offered clarity where there was doubt, strength where there was fear, and light where there was heaviness. That shift became the foundation of a new purpose she never saw coming.
Choosing yoga as a career, however, was far from easy. Her parents wanted her to pursue a secure corporate path, a familiar journey with predictable stability. But Induja’s heart was elsewhere. Standing firm for her dream became one of the biggest turning points of her life.
Entering the yoga field came with its own challenges. She was not someone who grew up practicing from childhood. Surrounded by younger, more advanced practitioners, she often felt behind. Yet, instead of competing, she committed. Consistency replaced perfection. Progress became her only focus.
Today, that decision has shaped a remarkable journey. Induja now runs her own yoga studio in Chennai, has taught over 8,000 students in five years, and continues to help people heal mentally and physically through her sessions.
Her message remains simple and powerful:
Yoga can transform your life if you allow it. Stay consistent, trust your path, and believe in your own resilience.
